Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a Physical Therapy business find a highly skilled and experienced Cash-Based Sports Physical Therapist to join their team. As a cash-based practice, they prioritize delivering personalized, high-quality care to clients without the constraints of insurance limitations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports physical therapy and a passion for helping athletes of all levels achieve their peak performance through rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.
Expected hours are 15-30 per week.
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations and assessments of athletes to determine individualized treatment plans.
- Design and implement comprehensive treatment programs focusing on restoring function, alleviating pain, and maximizing performance.
- Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions to address musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
- Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and exercises for home management.
- Provide ongoing progress evaluations and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, coaches, trainers, and referring physicians as needed to ensure holistic care and seamless transition back to sport.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and trends in sports physical therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state license to practice physical therapy.
- Preferred of experience in sports physical therapy or sports performance.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with athletes and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and achieving optimal outcomes.
- CSCS or collegiate athlete.
- Additional certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, or other specialized interventions.
- Experience working with athletes at the collegiate or professional level.
- Knowledge of sports performance training principles and methodologies.
