Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a Physical Therapy business find a highly skilled and experienced Cash-Based Sports Physical Therapist to join their team. As a cash-based practice, they prioritize delivering personalized, high-quality care to clients without the constraints of insurance limitations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports physical therapy and a passion for helping athletes of all levels achieve their peak performance through rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.

Expected hours are 15-30 per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough initial evaluations and assessments of athletes to determine individualized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement comprehensive treatment programs focusing on restoring function, alleviating pain, and maximizing performance.
  • Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions to address musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
  • Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and exercises for home management.
  • Provide ongoing progress evaluations and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, coaches, trainers, and referring physicians as needed to ensure holistic care and seamless transition back to sport.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and trends in sports physical therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state license to practice physical therapy.
  • Preferred of experience in sports physical therapy or sports performance.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with athletes and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and achieving optimal outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CSCS or collegiate athlete.
  • Additional certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, or other specialized interventions.
  • Experience working with athletes at the collegiate or professional level.
  • Knowledge of sports performance training principles and methodologies.
