Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst
North Canton, OH

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise MDM solutions using Informatica MDM and related Informatica platforms.
  • Partner with business leaders, data owners, and SMEs to understand data management needs, priorities, and order management processes across the enterprise.
  • Develop and maintain data models, match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and data stewardship workflows to ensure accurate golden records.
  • Implement and optimize matching and merging algorithms to improve master data quality and reliability.
  • Design and develop ETL/ELT mappings, data pipelines, and integration workflows to support enterprise master data architecture.
  • Create and maintain data quality rules, profiling processes, cleansing routines, and monitoring dashboards to ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Implement and manage Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), including metadata harvesting, business glossaries, policy enforcement, lineage, and data discovery.
  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings and integration patterns between MDM and governance platforms to ensure proper metadata and catalog synchronization.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance teams and downstream system owners to establish data standards, stewardship processes, and master data workflows.
  • Support data onboarding, source system integrations, entity lifecycle management, and governance adoption initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
  • Create technical documentation including data lineage, architecture documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and participate in architecture reviews and data governance councils.
  • Drive adoption of global master data standards and governance practices while partnering with global business leaders on improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 45+ years of experience in Master Data Management or data governance environments.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica MDM, including match/merge rules, survivorship logic, golden record creation, and workflow development.
  • Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), including stewardship workflows, business glossaries, and governance policies.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation, profiling, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with SAP ECC and related enterprise systems.
  • Experience building data dictionaries, business glossaries, governance frameworks, and stewardship processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and structure data for effective business decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across IT and business teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self‑motivated professional with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
