At Park IP, Welo Global's Legal Service Line, we are currently seeking experienced patent translators to support our growing portfolio of patent translation projects.

We are looking for linguists with proven experience translating patents from English US (en-US) into Slovenian (sl-SI).

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in translating and proofreading patents, specifically in the field of Biology.

Main Duties

• Translate patent-related content from English US (en-US) into Slovenian, with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience. The Style adequacy is a key aspect for our client;
• Follow instructions, for example Translation process, CAT tool usage, etc.
• Communicate effectively and response promptly in English.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent field of Biology;
• Native fluency in target language;
• Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
