Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Machine Operator - to join our team in North Canton Ohio. This role involves setting up and operating both CNC Mill and Lathe. May also include manual mill and lathe machines, with a focus on machining unique parts from Copper, Brass, Stainless or Mild Steel. You will work independently, handling setting up the machines and producing finished parts.

Job Duties:

- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines with minimal supervision.

- Position and set up work pieces using cranes or manual methods to hold tolerances as close as .001".

- Apply appropriate speeds, feeds, and machining methods for different materials.

- Write and edit CNC programs as needed.

- Use precision measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.

- Perform blocking and aligning of irregular-shaped parts.

- CAM software programming

- Assist in assembly as needed

What you need to be successful:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- 1+ years of experience in CNC set up and machining or CNC certification

- 1+ years of experience with CAM programming

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with manual machining

- Mastercam experience
