Be the force that keeps production moving
Join a team where your adaptability supports painters, machine operators, welders, material handlers, and lead persons. You will contribute across multiple stations and keep parts organized and on time. Employee works under close supervision.
Primary responsibilities
Load unpainted metal parts onto the Paint Line.
Load copper bars and pipe onto the Bus Insulation Line conveyor.
Unload painted parts and apply the required identification labels.
Move parts between processes in accordance with part routings.
Remove completed parts from sheet metal skeletons.
Sort and stack by part number and job number.
Assemble part kits for welding operations.
Assist machine operators and trade personnel with assorted tasks as needed.
Support daily and weekly preventative maintenance on Paint Line & Bus Insulation Line equipment and facilities.
Perform occasional labor tasks (painting, grinding, sanding, general cleaning) as directed by a supervisor or lead person.
Work practices and physical demands
Follow all company operating procedures, safety rules, and ISO requirements.
Lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
Maintain a clean, organized work area; end-of-shift clean-up is required.
Use production software to control equipment or retrieve company information.
Qualifications Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to learn to read mechanical part and assembly drawings.
Ability to read and use a linear tape measure.
Capability to work independently or within a small team and complete tasks with little direct supervision.
Competency with basic math, reading, and writing for daily tasks.
