About the Role
This role will be an essential member of the Production Team. As the Inventory Specialist (PCP), you will be responsible for the coordination and supply of all materials to the production lines. This position will require at least one Saturday or Sunday a month when there is not production to conduct inventory. This may also require several weekends in August to conduct year‑end inventory reconciliation.
MainResponsibilities
- Coordinate with the warehouse and quality team to provide materials for all production areas.
- Partner with quality on any material issues and ensure that all information is shared with the affected areas in production.
- Inform the production and planning team of any material shortages that may result in reduction of scheduled planning.
- Update inventory daily and support with monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor organization of materials in all production areas.
- Review scheduled production for the following week and ensure materials will be available at startup and overtime shifts.
- With the use of a pallet jack, move materials to production lines from staging areas.
- Any additional duties as required.
- Experience working within a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
- Has a High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
