CNC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Machine Operator – to join our team in North Canton Ohio. This role involves setting up and operating both CNC Mill and Lathe. May also include manual mill and lathe machines, with a focus on machining unique parts from Copper, Brass, Stainless or Mild Steel. You will work independently, handling setting up the machines and producing finished parts.

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines with minimal supervision.
• Position and set up work pieces using cranes or manual methods to hold tolerances as close as.001".
• Apply appropriate speeds, feeds, and machining methods for different materials.
• Write and edit CNC programs as needed.
• Use precision measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform blocking and aligning of irregular-shaped parts.
• CAM software programming
• Assist in assembly as needed

What you need to be successful:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in CNC set up and machining or CNC certification
• 1+ years of experience with CAM programming

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with manual machining
• Mastercam experience
