Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. The Maintenance Associate will have responsibility for electrical repair, equipment, and building maintenance.
Education or Experience
- High school diploma or GED or 1-2 years of previous machine maintenance experience, electrical helpful.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
- Sufficient reading level to understand written requirements/instructions.
- Working knowledge of rigging methods used to move heavy equipment.
Physical
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally, stand for up to 8 hours, use of hands.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- None
Computer Skills
- Above average understanding of basic computer principles (Microsoft Excel, Word) to properly enter quality control information, and inventory information.
