Retail Sales Associate

Location: 4895 Portage Street, NW, North Canton, OH 44720

Compensation: $14.73 to $18.84 per hour (based on experience, location, and other factors). Eligible for incentive pay with an average payout of $162.00 – $389.00 per month.

Schedule: 37.5 hour work week;
Monday 9AM–6PM, Tuesday–Friday 9AM–5PM, Saturday 9AM–12PM. No Sundays. Full‑time associates accrue up to three weeks of paid time off during the first year.

• Consistently up‑sell and cross‑sell AAA products such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
• Answer overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak volumes, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Serve as backup by assisting in the functions of Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.

• Previous sales and customer service experience with a proven ability to drive results.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, essential for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
• Proficiency in multiple websites and programs, demonstrating computer skills required for multitasking in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass pre‑employment and post‑employment screening, including criminal, drug, and other required screenings.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Basic geography knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain necessary membership license (or other required licenses) to perform essential duties.
