We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Transportation Department as a Delivery Driver. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Transportation Team with objectives including:

• Safe and timely delivery and unloading of products to customers within an assigned route
• Strict adherence to DOT Regulations and Atlantic Foods Safety Policies

What it’s like to work in the Transportation Department at Atlantic Food Distributors day to day:

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and Company procedures
• Hand unload product within assigned routes using 2‑wheel dollies
• Transport product on ramps, stairs and/or docks
• Place product in designated customer delivery area
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem‑solving skills, report customer and product issues immediately
• Safely operate equipment and obey all traffic rules and immediately report accidents or damage immediately
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet standard hygiene requirements
• Check invoices for credit terms at each stop and collect funds when needed
• Collect, sign, and correctly code all invoices
• Turn in reconciliation sheet along with collected funds and invoices to Driver Check‑In on a daily basis

On some days you might:

• Operate a box truck in excessively busy traffic and or in variable weather conditions
• Participate in formalized training and successfully pass evaluations
• Must be flexible to occasional work a weekend route
• Most routes are 10 hours and as a result you will only be required to work 4 days a week but occasionally will be asked to work overtime

• No experience necessary, experienced non‑CDL, Class B CDL and Class A CDL
• Someone who can maintain pace and comfortable working alone everyday
• Must have a cell phone that you can be at reached during your route
• Must be at least 22 years old
• Possess a valid Driver’s License with a good MVR (no more than 2 points)
• Able to read, write and communicate with our team and customers as it relates to the job and safety regulations
• Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills
• Must be able to lift 20‑80 lbs. repetitively
• Able to maintain a high level of physical activity throughout the day

• $18.00‑$21.00 per hour plus weekly incentives
• 90‑day evaluation could result in pay increase if warranted
• Hourly pay rate is determined by experience and willingness to learn quickly and be flexible
