Accounting Manager

North Forge Search is partnering with a confidential fortune 500 manufacturing company that is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounting processes, while also developing teammates, shaping culture, aligning with division priorities, and serving as a business partner across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Coordinate execution of all accounting processes including general ledger and accounts payable
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Drive improvements and enhancements for efficiency and accuracy
• Partner with leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives
• Lead implementation and communication of accounting policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance-related experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate work and drive accountability.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment preferred
