As a Senior Accountant, you will focus on cost accounting and financial analysis, helping to optimize budgets, improve cost-efficiency, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, manufacturing processes, and data analysis.

These Tasks Ensure The Foundational Accuracy Of Cost Data

• Maintain and update cost standard files; collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain departments to ensure accurate cost roll-ups
• Maintain cost system documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements

These Responsibilities Involve Daily/weekly/monthly Entries And Data Integrity

• Book sales, intercompany transfers, labor, and inventory transactions accurately
• Prepare journal entries and verify the accuracy of monthly financial statements

These Tasks Focus On Inventory Control And Cost Evaluation

• Prepare and reconcile monthly plant inventories and general ledger entries
• Collect, analyze, and report on operational and manufacturing costs
• Conduct annual physical inventory reconciliations and standard cost reevaluations

These Responsibilities Support Performance Tracking And Reporting

• Generate financial reports and present variance analysis
• Perform account reconciliations and profit analysis

These Tasks Support Decision-making And Budget Alignment

• Monitor plant activities for alignment with financial and capital budgets
• Advise management on cost optimization strategies and process improvements

These Responsibilities Ensure Regulatory And Internal Control Compliance

• Audit internal controls and indirect purchase reports
• Support external audit processes including Sarbanes-Oxley
• Assist with regulatory duties and miscellaneous financial projects

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or similar ERP systems (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
