Administrative Support Specialist - #002281 Position Summary
The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
This position serves as specialized administrative support for the Purchasing and Accounts Payable Department. The incumbent will act as the primary point of contact for vendor relations, process and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail, audit vendor profiles within the Cata Mart system and update registrations as needed, handle remittance address changes, back up the Purchasing department, and maintain the department website.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for all vendor relations
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Audit vendor profiles with the Cata Mart system and update registrations when necessary
- Make remittance address changes within the Accounts Payable department
- Back up the Purchasing department
- Maintain the department website
The position requires computer literacy, data entry and accounting experience, and proficiency with calculators, printers and computers. The candidate must follow oral and written instructions, be self‑motivated, possess good people skills, and pay close attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalency and at least one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
