Utility Payment Clerk
Location: Roxboro, NC
Pay Range: $16 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Duration: Temporary, 4–6 months
Job Summary: Processing payments at the payment window and drive‑thru efficiently and accurately, entering payment details into the system, greeting visitors, handling various payment methods, and performing clerical or data entry tasks to support daily operations.
Responsibilities- Process payments at the payment window and drive‑thru efficiently and accurately
- Enter payment details into the system with precision to ensure transaction accuracy
- Greet visitors warmly and notify relevant personnel of their arrival
- Handle various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks
- Perform clerical or data entry tasks as assigned to support daily operations
- No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
