Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant aids in the completion of all plant office work required to keep accurate information flowing between the plant and Corporate Office.
Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
- Inputs daily receipts for incoming raw materials in Excel and Oracle system.
- Responsible for input and printing of plant daily/weekly reports whichincludesbut not limited to raw materials, fleet, inventory.
- Address and resolve any issues related to orders, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Customer service duties, to include handling customer inquiries about service and updating Customer accounts.
- Assistin typing correspondence, data entry, faxing and copying.
- Responsible for answeringphoneand takingmessageas necessary.
- Responsible for current security sign-in procedure along with gate intercom assistance.
- Back up to Office Manager and Accounting Clerk duties.
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience, typically 2+ years in an administrative role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system.
- Strong written and verbal communication and basic mathematical skills.
- Requires prolonged sitting and computer use, with frequent walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing or balancing, and communication with others.
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
- May occasionally be exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards.
