Shifts:
Monday-Friday and Weekends (2 open positions) 8 AM - 5 PM
Senior Helpers of Waxhaw & Monroe is seeking a credentialed caregiver (HHA, PCA, or CNA) who is also organized, dependable, and comfortable in an office setting. This is primarily an in-office role supporting our Office Coordinator and Scheduler, with occasional fill-in caregiving when a shift can't otherwise be covered or a caregiver cancels last minute.
Key Responsibilities
Office Coordinator & Scheduler Support (Primary Focus)
- Support day-to-day office operations, phone coverage, and client/caregiver documentation.
- Maintain organized files (Care Plan binders, Welcome Packets, employment paperwork) and input records into home care software.
- Support caregiver scheduling, availability tracking, and coverage of missed shifts.
- Assist with recruiting tasks (job postings, ATS updates, new hire files) as needed.
- Provide office coverage during the Office Coordinator's or Scheduler's absence.
Fill-In Caregiving (As Needed / Last-Minute Coverage Only)
- Step in only when a shift can't otherwise be covered or a caregiver cancels last minute.
- Assist with activities of daily living, companionship, and following the client's care plan.
- Document visit notes and communicate any client changes to the office.
Qualifications
- Active HHA, PCA, or CNA credential and prior caregiving experience required.
- Office administration or scheduling experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable shifting between office duties and hands-on care.
- Reliable transportation; must pass background and drug screenings.

- Competitive pay: $16-17/hr paid biweekly.
