Shipping Clerk

The Shipping Administrative Clerk provides administrative support to the shipping department in a manufacturing environment, making sure orders ship accurately, on time, and in line with company and customer requirements.

• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and export paperwork.
• Schedule shipments with freight carriers, parcel services, and 3PL providers.
• Verify quantities, weights, dimensions, and destination details for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain shipping data in ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, discrepancies, and carrier issues.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and customer service on schedules and delivery status.
• Maintain shipping records, generate reports, and support inventory counts and receiving as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of administrative, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. ERP or shipping software experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, and truckload shipping. Export experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
