Our client, an automotive repair company is seeking an experienced, positive, and skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. They are offering competitive pay of up to $60 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, and paid holidays. The company provides a safe, open, and family-friendly work environment, with a local owner who is onsite daily.
Responsibilities- Use your knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our customers.
- Perform accurate and high-quality automotive diagnosis and repairs on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Continuously develop your experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest digital vehicle inspections for customers.
- Work collaboratively with a team of technicians to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department and customers regarding vehicle concerns and repairs.
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
- Positive attitude and a passion for serving customers.
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- NC State Inspector License preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Knowledgeable with reflashing/reprogramming process and all vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and import.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- The desire for long-term career development.
- Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
- Ability to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Ability to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
