We are looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team! This role will focus on performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
  • Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform required repairs
  • Conduct regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs
  • Repair or replace worn parts and systems to prevent breakdowns
  • Operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other specialized service tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
Requirements
  • Ford Certification preferred
  • Previous experience as an automotive service technician (1+ year in a dealership or service department)
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to identify vehicle issues quickly and accurately
  • Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Proficiency with computers and diagnostic software
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
