Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - AVL

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Seasonal full‑time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $17 per hour and is located at 61 Terminal Drive Suite 18, Fletcher, NC 28732. The role is seasonal, beginning in May/June and capped at 180 days of service.

• Sunday – Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The company manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 fully‑staffed locations in over 90 countries.

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset or restore vehicle settings to remove prior customer data.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate; place customer items in Lost & Found if necessary.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle for rental.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damage; pull vehicle out of the prep process as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branch locations.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning of interior and exterior branch areas, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other daily cleanliness tasks.

• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the past three years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work‑authorization sponsorship by our company now or in the future.
• Seasonal employees may work up to 180 days during a defined season and must experience a three‑month break in service at the end of the season before returning as a seasonal or regular employee.
