Join Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines for an exciting and rewarding summer 2026 camp experience. We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals to support our overnight camp programs across Camp Mary Atkinson, Camp Graham, Camp Hardee, and Camp Mu‑Sha‑Ni.

Camp Mary Atkinson, Selma, NC (travel to other Council camps as needed)

Summer 2026 (mid‑May through the end of July)

Hourly rate of $17.00 per hour, including housing (optional) and meals after training.

• $250 Mid‑Summer Bonus – for staff remaining employed through the end of June
• $250 Completion Bonus – for staff remaining employed through the end of summer camp

• Assist Kitchen Supervisor with providing nutritious, well‑prepared meals for campers and staff.
• Ensure campers receive delicious and nutritious meals.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen security.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Desire to work in food service.
• Knowledge of food preparation standards, storage, and kitchen procedures.

• Current health and safety laws and practices.
• Preparation of special dietary foods, including vegetarian.
• Food service sanitation.
• Commitment to the aims and purpose of the Girl Scout movement.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Visual and auditory ability to respond to hazards and behavior.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Stand/walk for long periods (60 minutes or more).
• Provide first aid and assist in emergencies.
• Determine cleanliness of dishes, surfaces, and kitchen area.
• Assess condition of food.
