Account Manager – Group Benefits
The Account Manager plays a key role in coordinating, collecting, and implementing group benefits with carriers and shares responsibility for group benefit meetings. The role involves building relationships between brokers, carriers, vendors, and HR directors, resolving client inquiries, and consulting employers’ HR departments on insurance needs that could impact benefits goals. The manager also interacts with all departments within eBen and orchestrate HR to deliver seamless service.
Responsibilities- Coordinate, collect, and implement group benefits with carriers and oversee group benefit meetings.
- Build relationships with brokers, carriers, vendors, and HR directors.
- Resolve client inquiries and consult employers’ HR departments on insurance needs.
- Assist agents and clients with gathering data for quotes for new groups and renewals.
- Prepare spreadsheets with carrier options.
- Leverage India teams to collect data when required.
- Resolve day‑to‑day service issues, including eligibility, billing, and claim issues with internal departments, clients, carriers, and vendors.
- Prepare benefit booklets for clients.
- Conduct enrollment meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a related field of at least two years.
- Resident Life & Health License.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
