Project Coordinator
Adecco is currently assisting a client in Elizabethtown, NC in recruiting for a Project Coordinator. This is a temporary onsite opportunity expected to last 3-6 months, with pay ranging from $20-$25/hour depending on experience.
Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting factory operations by ensuring the timely closure of open tasks, tracking critical actions, and helping meet customer commitments. This position requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive accountability across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clear and organized overview of all open factory topics, risks, action items, and customer-related issues.
- Develop, manage, and regularly update structured action plans, including ownership, deadlines, priorities, and status tracking.
- Proactively follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate across departments such as production, quality, supply chain, engineering, and customer support to drive task closure.
- Serve as a central point of coordination between Product Line, Sales, and Customer Service for critical cross-functional needs.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to management, highlighting risks, overdue items, escalations, and key decisions needed.
- Provide transparent and timely updates to internal stakeholders on progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Support customer communications by preparing status updates and aligning on action plans.
- Participate in customer meetings as needed to review progress, confirm priorities, and reinforce customer confidence.
- Track and ensure completion of all customer commitments through effective internal communication and follow-through.
- Identify recurring issues, gaps in ownership, or process inefficiencies and communicate them to leadership for corrective action.
- Promote accountability, disciplined execution, and timely closure of all action items within the factory environment.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance responsiveness, execution reliability, and overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Experience working cross-functionally in a manufacturing or operations environment preferred
