Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Emergency Water Response (EWR) Program Office to serve as the primary coordination focal point between the EWR team and the Incident Management Team (IMT) during Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) emergency responses. In this role, you will work closely with the International Water Unit (IWU) Manager, WASH engineers, and technical advisors to ensure WASH program strategies are effectively planned, coordinated, and implemented.

In the role of EWR Program Officer
, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
- Liaise between IMT Operations and the EWR team during WASH responses and represent EWR within the IMT.
- Coordinate with the IWU Manager and EWR engineers and advise on WASH Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) staffing for emergency responses.
- Lead the planning and development of WASH DART specialty trainings and capacity-building initiatives.
- Coordinate the development of WASH technical components for external grant proposals.
- Lead the collection, validation, and reporting of WASH program data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Deploy as part of a Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) to support WASH disaster response operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, humanitarian studies, or related WASH field, as well as 3 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Moderate international experience and demonstrated success in cross‑cultural communication and ministry preferred.
- 12 credit hours of college‑level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)
Travel Expectations: 70-75 days/annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary.
