Position: EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST (MAINTENANCE MASTER DATA) with Security Clearance
Location: Cherry Point

Duties
* You will provide support and assistance that includes logistics elements with a focus on technical data, maintenance planning and management, and design interface as required by the FRC East Production and process shops.
* You will analyze maintenance supportability and readiness information for those systems processed at FRC East.
* You will research and provide data and reports as required in order to make presentations to management and customers.
* You will gather and analyze data and use production maintenance knowledge to make recommendations and decisions.
* You will support and collaborate on all work center changes. Requirements Conditions of employment

and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Understanding of the activity's accepted practices to incorporate technical data and workflow knowledge from a wide variety of sources into comprehensive routers for depot workflow, and understanding of the activity's industry, work processes common to the industry and work products to evaluate a wide range of present and potential production methods, systems facilities, tools, programs, and practices.

2.) Understanding of the activity's, policies, standards, procedures, and precedents associated with the gathering of information to analyze and evaluate information, interpret guidance and draw conclusions to make recommendations and mitigate or eliminate issues. 3.) Understanding broad knowledge organizational structure, production floor and the work units studied and their relationship with other major functions performed by the activity. 4.) Documenting formal and informal training required by role.

5.) Preparing and presenting comprehensive studies demonstrating sufficient data analysis and excellent written and oral communication skills. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
