Are you an organised and customer-focused administration professional who enjoys variety, systems, problem solving and working with people?
Banyule Leisure is looking for a Business Administration Support Officer to provide practical, hands‑on support to our leadership team across business systems, finance, reporting, membership administration, stock control and People & Culture processes.
This is a varied role where no two days will look exactly the same. You’ll help keep operational processes running smoothly, support accurate records and reporting, follow up member account queries, assist with purchasing and accounts payable, and coordinate administration across a range of business systems.
You’ll be part of a team that supports health, wellbeing, recreation and active living outcomes for the Banyule community.
Why you’ll love this role and what you’ll do:You’ll Support The Efficient Delivery Of Banyule Leisure Services By Providing Business Administration Across a Number Of Key Areas, Including
- membership account administration, including overdue amounts and member queries
- business and operational reporting
- People & Culture administration support, including onboarding, qualification records, anniversaries and other staff-related processes
- retail, merchandise, uniform and kiosk stock control
- takings, banking and reconciliation support
- accounts payable administration, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoice checking and approval follow-up.
You’ll work closely with the Banyule Leisure leadership team, staff, members, internal Council teams and external stakeholders to support accurate, timely and efficient service delivery.
What You’ll Bring /what We Are Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident working across different systems, tasks and stakeholders. You’ll have
- A commitment to Banyule Leisure’s values and a keen interest in promoting health and wellness outcomes for our customers and the wider community.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to multitask in a busy and dynamic environment, without compromising service to customers.
- At least 1 years’ experience in similar or related roles.
- Prior experience working within the community sector or aquatics and recreation industry in a administration or similar role will be highly considered.
- Knowledge of or capability to work with a number of independent and interfacing IT platforms to support Banyule leisure, providing a range of outcomes including data analysis, system information integration and quality control.
- A 2 year fixed term part time role working 22.8 hours per week – this could be worked across 3 or 4 days.
- Salary from $49,994.57 to $57,898.35 per year (comparison at full time is $83,324.29 to $96,497.25) depending on experience, plus super.
- Primary work location Ivanhoe Aquatic, and Olympic Leisure Centre.
