Manager Hatchery │ Wadesboro Hatchery​/Transportation; Wadesboro, NC)

The primary purpose of this position is to lead and direct a GP PS Hatchery Team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations while achieving financial and business objectives.

• Providing quality products to customers globally

• Bachelor’s degree in a general professional field, typically obtained through four (4) years of college, or equivalent work experience preferred.

• Four (4) or more years of poultry management–related experience preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using available computer programs.

• Direct supervision of:
  • Four(4)+ salaried team members
  • Approximately 40+ hourly team members

• Domestic travel approximately four (4) times per year.

• This jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring shower‑in/shower‑out procedures, which may include multiple showers during the workday.
• The Company provides all required clothing and footwear.
• No jewelry may be worn except approved medical .
• Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (chickens, ducks, birds).
• Must follow the Company Animal Welfare Policy at all times.
• Must follow all Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards.

• Must use safe lifting techniques.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Must follow all required safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
