Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent for our rapidly growing construction company. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in managing both multifamily and single-family residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all phases of construction, from pre-construction planning to project completion. This role requires hands-on involvement, robust decision-making skills, and a passion for creating high-quality, sustainable living spaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain quality control measures and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
• Foster a positive and safe work environment, ensuring all activities adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, providing valuable input based on your expertise.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular progress updates and handling any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Continuously strive for process improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction management role, with a focus on multifamily and single-family residential projects.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in construction software, such as Procore or similar.
• A proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Certification in construction safety or a related field is a plus.
