Class A CDL Driver - Asheville Area

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Drive and operate safely on and off the project sites

* Pre and Post Trip inspection of the truck and trailer in compliance with DOT regulations

* Fuel and grease truck daily

* Perform tasks involving hauling dirt on project jobsite or between project jobsites

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Class A CDL License

* Air Brakes cert

* Current Medical Card

* 2+ year's construction experience of hauling dirt

* Knowledgeable of DOT regulations

* Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors

* Communication and interpersonal skills are a must

* Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize

Working Conditions

* Travel - The position is located in Clyde, NC area or the Charlotte, NC area, with the potential of other locations throughout the Eastern Region.

* Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects.
