Planner; Construction

A Tier 2 main contractor is seeking an experienced Planner to join their high-performing project team in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects with blue-chip clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and scheduling of key construction activities across multiple projects.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop integrated programmes.
• Monitor progress, identify delays or risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Conduct site visits and update schedules in line with project progress.
• Support coordination of materials, resources, and construction sequencing.
• Provide regular programme updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and risks.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify planning or sequencing issues.
• Assist in managing multiple live projects and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Apply Earned Value Management principles where required.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including NEC contracts.

• Degree in a construction-related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction planning or scheduling.
• Strong proficiency in P6, Asta Power project, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and NEC contracts.
