HUB/MWBE OUTREACH SESSION

Barnhill Contracting Company has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by Greene County Schools for the Greene Central High School Replacement Project in Snow Hill, NC
, and will be conducting the following HUB/MWBE Informational Session. You are encouraged to attend the following session to learn more about project participation opportunities available to you. These seminars will help to:
Learn about the project and the scope of the bid packages;
Inform and train Minority/HUB contractors in preparation for bidding this project;
Assist in registration on the State of North Carolina Vendor link;
Stimulate opportunities for Networking with other firms. This meeting will be held in-person and virtually via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 2/20/24 from 5 pm-6 pm.

PROJECT

DESCRIPTION:

This project, located at 140 School Drive, Snow Hill, NC, consists of the multi-phased construction of the Greene Central High School (approximately 132,000 SQFT), site work (approximately 1708 acres), and demolition and abatement of the existing Greene Central High School (approximately 134,033 SQFT) as the last phase. Site work shall consist of grading, storm drainage, utilities, site improvements, paving, landscaping, and fencing.

The new school shall be 2 stories supported by a steel structure. The building envelope consists of masonry and metal stud walls, brick and metal panel veneers, curtain wall and storefront glazing, standing seam, and membrane roofs. Interior walls are metal stud and masonry. Interior finishes include paint, acoustic ceilings, polished concrete floors, carpet tile, epoxy flooring, ceramic tile, athletic wood flooring, VCT, typical casework, laboratory casework, and building specialties to include food service and athletic equipment.

Historically underutilized business firms are encouraged to complete prequalification submittals.

Prequalification and Submittal Details
