Pool Construction Crew Member
Reports To: Crew Lead / Field Supervisor
Location: Field-Based (Project Sites) Position Summary
The Pool Construction Crew Member supports the installation, construction, and finishing of residential and/or commercial swimming pools. This role is responsible for executing field tasks safely, efficiently, and according to plans and quality standards.
Success in this role means:
- Work is completed correctly the first time
- Safety standards are upheld without exception
- Crews stay productive and on schedule
- Clients experience professionalism on-site
To execute high-quality pool construction work safely and efficiently while supporting the Crew Lead and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
Key Responsibilities Site Preparation & Layout- Assist with site layout and excavation prep
- Measure and verify dimensions per plans
- Prepare base and formwork as directed
- Load/unload materials and tools
- Maintain organization of equipment
- Ensure materials are protected and staged properly
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support elevated client experience on-site
- Respect client property
- Communicate professionally with homeowners when required
- Arrive on time, ready to work
- Follow direction from Crew Lead
- Stay productive throughout the shift
- Complete assigned tasks before leaving the site
- Report problems early — not at the end of the day
Skills & Qualifications
- Construction or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Lift up to 50–75 lbs
- Stand, kneel, bend, and work on uneven terrain
- Work in heat, cold, and varying weather
- Operate basic construction equipment
