We are looking for a Project Controls Coordinator (PCC) specializing in Field Cost Analysis
. This role provides critical analytical support to the Project Controls and Project Management teams, focusing on the tracking of incurred costs, updating Primavera P6 forecast schedules, developing comprehensive Estimate at Completion (EAC) models, and executing earned value management (EVM) reporting for construction operations. The successful candidate will ensure financial and scheduling accuracy, serving as a pivotal link between field activities and corporate project controls.
Responsibilities
- Execute Field Cost Analysis: Track, analyze, and manage incurred costs to ensure project alignment with established budgets.
- Manage Daily LEMS Process: Oversee and validate Labor, Equipment, Materials, and Subcontractor (LEMS) data submissions daily.
- Maintain Project Cost Systems: Input, update, and manage project cost data utilizing the Eco Sys cost management platform.
- Validate Schedule Progress: Collaborate weekly with contractors to verify schedule percentage completion, as well as actual and forecast start and finish dates.
- Develop Forecast Models: Analyze project trends to maintain, update, and defend the project forecast at completion.
- Support Change Management: Assist in the documentation, evaluation, and processing of project change orders and scope variations.
- Liaise with Project Analytics: Provide accurate, detailed, and timely cost and schedule data to the assigned corporate Project Controls Analyst.
- Generate Reporting: Author and distribute comprehensive weekly construction progress and financial reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct Field Site Visits: Travel to various project sites to audit field progress and verify reported metrics against actual construction status.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience within project controls, cost analysis, or construction management.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on complex functions within Excel.
- Scheduling Systems: Foundational familiarity with Primavera P6 software and schedule architectures.
- Methodology: A solid understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and formulas.
- Licensure: A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are mandatory, as regular travel to field sites is required.
- Software Expertise: Prior hands-on experience utilizing Eco Sys or equivalent enterprise cost management tools.
- Industry
Experience:
Exposure to large-scale infrastructure, pipeline, or energy sector construction projects. - Work Structure: On-site / Field-based (Requires regular travel to local project sites)
