Project Manager, Data Centre

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with expertise in electrical contracting and a strong background in mission-critical facilities and data center construction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex, high-impact projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of data center construction projects, from initiation to successful completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project objectives are met without delays or cost overruns.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any challenges proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and excellence on the project site.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management within the electrical contracting and construction industry, particularly in mission-critical facilities and data center projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
Day-to-day
  • Lead and facilitate regular project meetings to track progress and address challenges.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and any necessary changes to meet project requirements.
  • Communicate project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, fostering transparency and collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned to enhance future project outcomes.
