Position OverviewSequoia Services is hiring a Skid Steer / Front-End Loader Operator & Construction Laborer to support active construction projects. This role combines equipment operation and hands-on labor, making it ideal for candidates who are versatile, dependable, and team-oriented.
What You’ll Do Equipment Operation- Operate skid steer, front-end loader, and similar equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform material handling, loading/unloading, grading, and site cleanup
- Assist with excavation, back filling, and fine grading tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Perform hands-on construction tasks including:
- Shoveling, raking, and hand grading
- Installing erosion control measures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Follow all OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Participate in daily safety meetings (toolbox talks)
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet production goals
- 1–3+ years experience operating skid steer, loader, or similar equipment
- Experience in construction, site work, grading, or earthmoving preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
- Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on uneven terrain
- Frequently enter and exit heavy equipment
