The Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Manager through creative execution, content development, and visual storytelling to promote the businesses and activities managed by Murphy Family Ventures. This creative role focuses on graphic design, photography, photo editing, and video production to visually tell the brand story and strengthen marketing efforts across all platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, brand consistency, and can develop effective layouts and vector graphics for print, digital, social, and various media. This position plays a key role in executing approved campaigns and ensuring high-quality, on-brand creative assets are delivered accurately and on time.

Examples of projects include print and digital advertising, signage, billboards, posters, social media graphics, newsletters, menus, and other visual materials that support storytelling and brand presence across Murphy Family Ventures entities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field required.
• Strong background in graphic design, photography, and video editing, with a keen eye for brand identity, layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro).
• Experience designing and preparing files for digital and print production, including large-format graphics, menus, signage, and collateral.
• Working knowledge of photography and videography, including lighting, composition, and post-production editing.
• Strong understanding of social media content creation and platform best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support visual storytelling through copy and captions.
• Highly creative, receptive to feedback, and able to refine work based on direction and brand standards.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work across MAC and PC platforms; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with web design and content management systems such as Squarespace and/or Word Press preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including interpreting ad performance data (Google, Facebook, etc.) and budget tracking.
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to self-start and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required for event coverages.
