Position Summary
Bayliss Boatworks is seeking a highly organized and creative Media Coordinator to oversee and contribute to the planning, execution, and evaluation of all media and communication efforts. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent brand experience across all customer and public-facing channels. The ideal candidate will manage a wide range of marketing activities including branding, digital presence, print materials, social media, website management, merchandising, and internal communications.

- Oversee website design and updates; collaborate with external vendors for major changes.
- Perform regular SEO optimization and performance checks.
- Keep content fresh and relevant, including bi-weekly production updates and blog articles.
- Manage the planning, production, and release of internal and external videos, including drone footage.
- Coordinate photos, videos, and drone shoots for new builds, campaigns, and events.
- Operate drones to capture aerial imagery as needed.
- Maintain an organized photo/video archive.
- Produce and distribute monthly e-bulletins and an annual newsletter (includes sponsor cultivation and content development).
- Develop standardized bi-weekly construction update communications for owner updates/books.
- Manage the company’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Vimeo).
- Create and distribute press releases.
- Organize and manage Bayliss presence at boat shows and tournaments.
- Develop branding strategies and ensure consistent brand application across all platforms.
- Lead marketing campaigns across digital and traditional media.
- Manage promotional events, sponsor ships, and tournament participation.
- Maintain and enforce brand style guides (logos, colors, fonts).
- Design and order Bayliss-branded apparel and merchandise.
- Manage online storefront and in-store merchandise logistics.
- Coordinate annual apparel development and promotional giveaways.
- Maintain organized databases of contacts, vendors, creative assets, and SOPs.
- Ensure all marketing processes are well-documented for repeatability and scalability.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing and communications budget.
- Track spending and adjust plans based on performance and approvals.
- Coordinate owner gift bags, Christmas gifts, and photo books.
- Support customer service and boatyard communication efforts as needed.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries received via the company’s general email.
- Office-based with occasional travel for events and on-site work.
- May require occasional evening/weekend work for event coverage or deadlines.
