Overview
St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cherryville, is seeking a part-time Music Director and Organist.
Responsibilities- Coordinate Sunday worship.
- Direct weekly rehearsals.
- Select music and prepare worship materials.
- Collaborate with the pastor on weekly and seasonal services.
- Provide leadership for special events.
- Assist with church functions such as VBS.
- Encourage choir and handbell volunteers.
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Musical proficiency.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to teamwork.
- Experience with blended worship and audio/visual background is preferred.
