Primary Purpose of PositionThe Digital Media Specialist creates compelling videos and photos that showcase campus life, academic excellence, and student success. This role captures the vibrant spirit of the institution through high-quality photography and video. The content will be used for recruitment, alumni engagement, and university-wide marketing across all digital platforms. This role shoots, edits, and outputs both short and long format video/multimedia productions, as well as capturing high-quality institutional photography for distribution to internal and external audiences.
Working closely with the University Communications and Marketing ( UCM ) team, this individual will independently manage photography and video projects from concept to completion, maintain a comprehensive digital archive, and help lead the visual strategy for the university.

- Video Production & Editing: Shoot, edit, and output short and long format video/multimedia productions. Edit video to the required length, caption as needed, and insert supporting B-roll footage and sound to complete each project.
- Lead University Photography: Act as the photographer for the university, capturing high-quality images of campus life, marketing campaigns, headshots, and institutional needs.
Campus
Collaboration:
Schedule taping and photo sessions with campus constituents including faculty, staff, students, trustees, and alumni.
