About the RoleAs a Guest Services Associate at Spacious Skies Campgrounds, you are the heartbeat of the campground’s front office. You are often the very first voice a guest hears on the phone and the first smile they see when they arrive.
This is not just a front desk position. It is a highly visible, operationally essential role that blends hospitality, organization, problem-solving, and leadership support. You will work closely with the General Manager, Maintenance, Grounds, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
You are a trusted point of contact — someone guests rely on for information, solutions, and reassurance. This role requires strong communication skills, calm decision-making, meticulous organization, and a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
Spacious Skies operates as a collective. While this position is based at one campground, opportunities may arise to participate in brand-wide initiatives or assist at sister properties. In some cases, this may include temporary travel to support operations at another campground.
What You’ll DoGuest Experience & Front Desk Operations- Book and manage reservations using our cloud-based park management system (Camp Spot preferred)
- Greet guests warmly during check-in and ensure smooth, efficient check-out experiences
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally (by the second ring whenever possible)
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and special requests with confidence and care
- Provide information about campground amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and outdoor activities
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately following established procedures
- Maintain organized records and daily reporting for the General Manager
- Organize and assist with on-site activities and guest engagement initiatives
- Maintain strong communication with Maintenance, Grounds, and Housekeeping teams to ensure guest needs are met
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and accommodations to ensure cleanliness and functionality
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stocking and light cleaning duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with campground policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive, solutions-focused culture
- Document operational issues, guest feedback, and follow-up needs clearly and accurately
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A calm, solutions-oriented approach in high-pressure situations
- 1+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Experience with booking systems, POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
- Weekend, holiday, and varied shift availability required
- Knowledge of local attractions and outdoor activities is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish or French) is a major plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
