Bryson City, NC Compensation: $15-18 hourly

Job Summary:

Coordinate vehicular and pedestrian traffic in accordance with the company parking plan. Interact effectively with coworkers and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a smile. Verify they are riding the current trip and direct them to appropriate parking lot.

Ensure traffic cones and barriers are in place at the beginning of the shift and returned to the parking shed at end of the  in position to direct and assist passengers in the parking lot. Direct pedestrians to the Depot, museum, and boarding stations.

Direct handicapped passengers to the designated area next to the ticket office.

Other duties as requested by department supervisor or GSMR management.

Work Environment:

Prolonged Standing and continuous walking

Various parking areas on property to include A;

B, D;

E, and overflow in lot C, Municipal Building, and church parking lot Exposure to all weather conditions

Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.

Must be able to work in various types of weather conditions.

Must wear and use company-provided safety vest.

Day, night, and weekend availability required.

Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
