Hiring $ 25,619 Minimum $26,901 Maximum $38,427 Grade 57

KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

:Assist dental assistant with clinic duties such as sterilizing instruments, assist dentist with chair side patient care, and securing dental equipment and supplies in preparation for a move of mobile dental clinic.

Schedule appointment for patients.

Support dental patient in keeping their appointments. Insure that patients are given all appropriate information. Present dental program to community ument important information and present problems to health director. Ensure patient flow. Answer incoming telephone calls and relay messages. Order office supplies, dental supplies and instruments. Work with other staff in the transition of mobile clinic from one location to the next.

Employee will perform all clerical duties. Daily data entry of services for billing.

REQUIREMENTS: Considerable knowledge of dental office business procedures. Sterile technique. Ability to maintain records, inventories. Computer skills.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Graduation from high school an successful completion of a one-year formal training course in medical office assisting at a community college or technical institute; or graduation from high school and a combination of one year of clerical and health/dental related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
