Schedule:
Tuesday-Friday
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including preventive services, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, and patient education.
- Partner closely with the doctor and team to deliver exceptional patient care and create a positive patient experience.
- Educate patients on oral health, treatment needs, and home care recommendations with confidence and compassion.
- Utilize clinical technology and digital tools to support diagnosis and patient understanding.
- Perform accurate periodontal charting, document clinical findings, and maintain detailed patient records.
- Support a strong culture of communication, collaboration, and accountability within the office.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
- Contribute to a smooth patient flow and assist in building long-term patient relationships.
- Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong periodontal knowledge and comfort treating periodontal patients.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and connect with patients.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive and collaborative approach to patient care.
- Experience with iTero scanning, Dentrix, and Microsoft Teams is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and delivering an outstanding patient experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
