Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Present treatment plans and educate patients on recommended care
  • Discuss insurance benefits, financial options, and payment plans
  • Collect patient payments and ensure financial arrangements are accurate
  • Coordinate treatment, surgical, and sedation appointments
  • Verify insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and pre-operative documentation
  • Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help patients overcome barriers to care
  • Communicate with referring offices and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor treatment plans, schedules, and financial records for accuracy
  • Resolve patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion
  • Support practice goals by improving treatment acceptance, collections, and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture and assist with office initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of dental office experience required
  • Previous Treatment Coordinator experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, and financial arrangements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
  • Comfortable discussing finances and helping patients make informed treatment decisions
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service
