  • 07:30am- 04:00pm
Dental Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during exams and procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
  • Take and record patient medical and dental histories.
  • Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations.
  • Sterilize instruments and follow infection control procedures.
  • Assist with suctioning, instrument passing, and dental materials.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Document patient care accurately in the dental record.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas.
  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, facility policies, and dental regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
  • Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as a Dental Assistant within the last 3 years.
  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).
