Village Family Dental is looking for a motivated Sterilization Tech to join our team. Position Summary

As a sterilization tech, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will support our team of providers throughout all stages of patient care. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing, cleaning, organizing, and closing the sterilization room and lab for daily functions
  • Follow OSHA standards and manufacturer’s instructions to maintain and sterilize all essential equipment.
  • Consult patient schedule to ensure proper availability of required instruments in operatories.
  • Maintain laundry including towels, smocks, and all essential uniform items.
  • Assist all clinical personnel once deemed ready for additional duties by appropriate parties.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiar with dental technology, infection control and dental procedures.
  • BLS or CPR Certification
  • Extended periods of standing, sitting, and bending, along with repetitive movements. Handling and manipulating tools, objects, and dental equipment.
