PA Outpatient Neurology Opportunities in eastern NC with ECU Health

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology are expanding and seeking Physician Assistants to provide outpatient neurological care. Opportunities exist in Ahoskie, NC and Edenton, NC. The successful candidates will be part of a growing regional neurology outpatient practice providing general neurology patient assessments and management. Neurology experience is preferred. A neurology orientation with an established neuroscience team located in Greenville, NC, will be required prior to being the sole onsite provider at the outpatient setting.

• BLS certification required
• Supervision by a neurologist who will provide care via telemedicine
• Large referral network including over 185 ECU Health practices and 9 ECU Health owned hospitals
• Support from an established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual‑trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20+ neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro‑oncology. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
