Locum Tenens Opportunity:
Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician in North Carolina We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 13-month locum tenens assignment near Carthage, North Carolina. This full-time role offers a well-structured schedule, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on women???s healthcare in the community.
Position Overview
Start Date:
October 20, 2025 Duration: 13 months
Schedule:
Monday ??? Friday: 8:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM C-Section Days:
Start at 7:30 AM Weekend Call: 1:4 rotation, Friday 8:00 AM ??? Sunday 8:00 AM Weekday Call: 2 days on, 2 days off Call Requirements:
Includes night call, call back, and 24-hour call Patient Population:
Women ages 16???65 EMR:
Epic
Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled C-sections and GYN surgeries Provide full-spectrum OB/GYN care to a diverse patient base Collaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives and fellow physicians Interpret first-trimester ultrasounds and manage OB/GYN emergencies Qualifications License:
Valid North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Board Certification:
Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology DEA Certification:
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years preferred Clinical
Skills:
Experience working with CNMs Skilled in ER GYN and first trimester OB care Proficiency in reading OB ultrasounds preferred Vaccination:
