We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT Physician) for a locum tenens position near Casar, NC. This role involves providing 24-hour emergency department (ED) call coverage in a hospital setting. 24-Hour ED Call Coverage:
- Provide comprehensive ENT care for both adult and pediatric patients presenting in the emergency department.
- Assist with oral maxillofacial (OMF) trauma cases, working closely with OMF residents who are on call 24/7.
- Collaborate with an on-call oral surgeon and plastic surgeon to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Stabilize patients as needed and coordinate with the oral surgery team for follow-up care.
- Support the hospitals initiative to reduce the call burden on oral surgeons by sharing OMF trauma responsibilities.
Hospital-Based Practice:
- Respond to urgent and emergent ENT cases, providing expert care in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize the hospitals EMR system (Cerner) for charting and documentation.
- Engage in a multidisciplinary approach, working alongside skilled support staff to deliver high-quality care.

Must be Board Certified in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). - DEA/CSR Certification:
Active DEA and North Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR). - Experience:
Previous experience in a hospital-based setting is highly preferred.
